Sculptural and bold, Glaive explores the possibilities held by new materials and engineering. Art Deco updated for the 21st century.
There's a clear transatlantic influence in Glaive – think 1930s American locomotives, streamlined Studebakers and Pontiacs, the Chrysler building dominating the Manhattan skyline. The lights combine the sweeping lines of fine bone china shades, slipcast exclusively for Bert Frank in Stoke-on-Trent with architectural machined-brass bases and brackets. Dynamic in every sense.
